It's only been a couple weeks since I checked out the exceptional T-800 from Hot Toys, but already they've got Sarah Connor out to join him on the shelf. She's not *quite* as nice as he was, but those are some mighty big boots to fill.

You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

I agree with the essence of your review. Not the most mindblowing Hot Toys figure but a worthy addition to the T2 line by the standards set.

I'd have preferred the hair-down as the standard MMS headsculpt rather than making it exclusive.

One question though how come the current batch of Neca T2 figures were never reviewed on your site? Nor do you appear to acknowledge their existence in the Related links portion of your reviews. I just find it a tad strange considering you do mention the old cult classics endoskeleton and the McFarlane figures.

Great figure and review, Michael! I was wondering when she'd arrive for you... Any pics of her with the alternate bangs, though :)?

Yea, under the hat :D You don't want her in those bangs without the hat. It's not a good look for her...

And I didn't review the NECA figures for the same reason I don't review thousands of other figures - I can't review everything.

Thanks for the awesome review Michael. Looks like it's a pass for me on this figure. It just doesn't give me that tingly feeling like most of the other HT stuff does. I'm not all that excited about it so I'll pass due to short of cash. Thanks for helping me decide. See I DON"T buy everything you review. Just like 98% of the HT stuff. :lol

her headsculpt seems pretty poor in comparison to more recent efforts by Hot Toys - especially when standing next to Arnie

Yea, she's a good, solid figure for the Terminator display...but she doesn't get me all tingly the same way the T-1000 does. There's probably something very wrong with me because I just said that, but what the Hell.

You have given the package too much credit.
The box is a pain to reassemble since its loses its shape when you remove the inner plastic box which contains the figure.

Same with the T-800 box....

I didn't have any trouble, but then I didn't leave the box sitting around in separate pieces for a long time. I took out the figure and accessories, reassembled the box, and popped it away.

Great looking figure... I'm going to try for the T-1000/Sarah figure, but this will be a good back up in case I'm not successful in snagging one.

Really impressed that HT went so far as to include the scar on her shoulder.

Yeah, I didn't notice that until I read your review... that is some serious attention to detail.

I didn't notice her eyebrow until someone mentioned it in another thread who thought it could be a paint app mistake. I went back and looked at my SC and sure enough that eyebrow detail was there. The eyebrow and scar on her arm are some serious detailing. Hats off to HT. :clap

Don't deny your feelings bro. When T-800 photos came out EVERYONE here was like OHHHHHHH SHHHHHHH....well you know besides the nickpickers and people that criticizes everything. :lol
