Nice review Wookster but I ain't feeling Silken. Not because the movie sucked but I think the face looks too doll like if that makes any sense. That Octopus though is stellar. Very sharp IMO.

I was hoping to get this figure before you posted review. Now it will be even harder to get

I'm really having issues seeing Scarlet in that sculpt. It's odd since the the proto looked near spot on.

I honestly think the reason why Scarlett looks off is due to the paint. The flesh color on the face seems almost uniform. Im sure we will see some repaints down the line that will really bring the detail out in the sculpt

I don't think I've seen a photo that really does her justice. like a lot of 1/6 figures, when you see the photos blown up the 'toy-like' qualities are amplified and more evident. The paint work is also subtle but works well when viewed in hand in natural daylight.
Thats not to say I'm not expecting an improvement when HT give us Black Widow!

Is it just me or are the pupils in her eyes not painted in the same direction? She doesn't look like she's focusing on anything.

I was tempted to get this one, but with those upcoming releases like ironman 2 etc don't hink I could afford getting a fig from a movie that doesn't strike me as interesting. Think I'm just gonna get the black widow scarlet for my scarlet fig.

I wish my gf had as much self control as you... she kept saying that over and over again.

Then she started arguing with "well who knows when that will come out, can i wait that long?"

Then she started looking at her budget and made reasons for not buying it again, but then she kept saying how much she liked the figure, but it was a nazi, how she couldn't even finish watching the film, and back and forth etc..

So, I bought the damn figure for her myself... Nazi pieces for sale

It's worth it cause she loves her some ScarJo, and she's really happy with it. It's her first Hot Toys.
