Nice looking figure. Just two gripes.

One of the shoulder pads fell off as the glue wasn't that strong. Double sided tape fixed it. I couldn't hook the back pack on the hooks
I'm wondering what you mean by glue holding the shoulder pads on since they're held on with velcro. Unless you're saying the velcro piece came off of the shoulder pad. If you turn the d-rings around on the strap, you can hook them into the backpack within seconds..don't even need tweezers or anything. Even with my stumpy, arthritic fingers; they go in so easy as long as you turn the rings around.

Yeah the Velcro came off and the shoulder pad was off when I opened the box.
For the backpack I gave up, but later I'll try turning the rings around.

Oh ok. Yeah, I can see how frustrating it'd be trying to put the curved side into those straight slots. I suppose I knew to turn them around right away cause of all those years of collecting 1/6 WWII German figures 16 years ago.

Not surprised. This one was sure to go fast.

Curious how did we know when compared to the ANH Sandtrooper? I don't see a difference in "subject matter" between the two (played the same role), yet the Sandtrooper remained on SS site for a long time even to "FREE SHIPPING" status! Is it because there have been so many "Stormtrooper" releases beforehand?

It seems that HT has cut way down on their edition sizes clearly after the over-estimation for TFA and even reissued ANH.

Retailers are also ordering less. For example, BBTS is sold out of many new items, like Luke Jedi. That never used to happen.

I got my hot snow trooper already. that was my first purchase in a long time I`m happy with him I have another coming as well. in parts I collected from TA and a friend of mine on ebay that I have dealt with for a while. didn't the sideshow snow trooper sell it fast when it first came out as well cant recall.

Is there any difference in figures between the episode v version and the battlefront two pack aside from the extra accessories? I'm basically getting two episode v snowtroopers right?

Yes. Even the weathering is the same (has anyone figured out how to safely remove some of that?) But you only get one regular stand.

Two pack is great since you get that awesome bonus blaster rifle too.

Sorry gang for the iPhone pics. My DSLR is still broken, but can't help wanting to share this awesome figure nonetheless.

Nice pics JD!

I'm picking these guys up in a couple days from my local shop. Went through the last 20 pages and these guys look great but the suit color varies a lot from pic to pic. In some it looks more off-white and in others it's tan. In hand, does it fall on the lighter or darker side from how it's showing up in pics?

Only nit I have is how tight the pants are on the thighs. Is that padding? Has anyone removed it?

If you imagine you're in Pottery Barn, the HT Snowie falls somewhere in the beige-taupe area (the pants are a little darker than the rest.) It's noticeably "tanner" than the SSC Snowie, which is a dirty grey/white.

Yes, it has upper leg padding as shown in this TA pic that creates a bit of thunder-thighs look...

Yes, I used some 70% rubbing alcohol on a cotton shirt (less abrasive than a paper towel) and with a little elbow grease, I removed/lightened some of the weathering on the helmet.
