Have you tried asking around in the B/S/T section of the board? Or if you go the eBay route, you can try doing a deal through PayPal only, save a few bucks.

Watch the for sale section of the boards. I got mine last November for like $270. If you're checking eBay you'll rarely find great deals on 1/6th stuff and I learned early on its better going through the boards when you can since most posters won't gouge you so badly.

It really is an awesome set. Now that Hot Toys is starting to release more Star Wars figures I'm glad I found him when I did and for a decent price even with the Sideshow exclusive.


Its not like Hot Toys has such poor track record that they shouldn't be trusted despite what certain people like to believe. I'm always of the opinion nothing is perfect but all in all I think Hot Toys usually does a good job with their releases. I agree that the Ford sculpt on the new Han figure has room for improvement but it seems like by and large the final products turn out good.

Just joking, who knows how the Keaton HS turns out? Won't know until it goes up for PO.

Sideshow says they've done over 150 Star Wars figures in the last 10 years. Has anyone got a list?

I know I don't have anywhere near that, but I sure would like to see just how many Star Wars Sideshow figures I do have.

Oh god, I know he is. It's going to ooze out in the first episode. But Star Wars always had that stuff. I just hope they do it simply and move on.

I hope the first shots (after the mandatory spaceship) is they zoom in on Endor, we see some Ewoks for the "aaaaah look how cute!" reactions, and then suddenly some stormtroopers that go in and kill them all. Brutally. Bloody.

So all these other figures we've been getting were really just filler until HT got the Star Wars license?

At least they might slow down on the Iron Men and Jokers.

This announcement truly has mad me reevaluate my collection... knowing now what's coming. Still getting Alien Ripley and T1 BD Terminator... thinking twice about Batman Returns and any Marvel figures that I was loosely considering.

The announcement made at SDCC was my giddyup call, Marvel and DC hot toys all sold off in preperation for what should play out to be some amazimg figures ever!
All the Marvel figures were just filler until hot toys got the Star Wars licence.
Seeing Han and the Wook yesterday gave me tingles all over my body.
I am soooo excited for this!

I'm curious what the 1/4th scale releases will be. Part of me wonders if they won't surprise everyone with a 1/4 scale Vader or something, out of the blue. The Star Wars license could have a lot to do with why it's taken them so long to release another offering from that series.

BTW, I think ROTS Obi-Wan was actually #3 and Sith Anakin was after Darth Maul (SDCC special). Just in case you care.
