HT droids are a certainty.

Now you must DECIDE -- the seemingly most difficult task for collectors everywhere. Get the SS Droids now -- or WAIT, and get better ones from HT... but it could be years.

HT will almost certainly make its own version of the droids, but don't expect either any time soon.

Thanks for the reply (and the same to the others)! For me, it's an easy choice then: just wait for the Hot Toys versions. I had the entire main core OT cast SS has put out, but had to sell them. Now, I can just wait as the superior HT versions trickle out.

LOL...sculpt, scale, finish, articulation, and to a lesser extent materials and accessories sway me. Electronics generally do not.

You must be disappointed often -- seems to be lots of problems with scale and sculpt most of the time. But lights always work good.

Everything is pure speculation at this point, which is fun. Give it a year or so and depending on how this line is shaping up we'll soon know if everyone is still happy.
