100% with you, I just decided that even if they don't make Kenobi that General Skywalker next to Ahsoka and Rex would be a great Detolf trio... I do need a legit HT Bespin Han though as well...

I think you’re right and I don’t think hot toys even has a choice. I bet Disney is pushing marvel and Star Wars new shows and probably have a say in what is produced.
we will get the stray ot cw pt announcement here and there, maybe one or two each a year and that’s it. The new shows will dominate releases. The writing is on the wall.

If Howard likes clones, he'll make them. Pretty sure they know there’s a huge market outside of HK for Star Wars, otherwise they wouldn’t make any SW figures at all.

They don’t have Disney+ over there so they aren’t getting these shows etc.

Plus I’d rather them not have 40 different clones available at once.

Pre ordered mine today from sideshow. Also ordered a 501st. They’ll look awesome with Cody I’ve just bought recently. Can’t wait.

If Howard likes clones, he'll make them. Pretty sure they know there’s a huge market outside of HK for Star Wars, otherwise they wouldn’t make any SW figures at all.

It’s not just Howard, Disney more than likely tells them what to make, at least in terms of shows. While there could be more, it’s surprising there hasn’t been a new one since last October

I doubt Disney tells them what to make for the most part, otherwise we’d have way more Sequel figures. HT makes a prototype, Disney either approves it or not.

We haven’t got anymore clones because they already had 4 available at the same time: Cody, Rex, 501st and Coruscant Guard. They’d be smart to not oversaturate the market all at once.

What straps do you mean regarding the blasters?

For the movie Commanders, they have a small strap that goes to the front of their buckle/crotch area. TCW didn't include this buckle as it wasn't a really important thing to animate.

Rex doesn't have the smalls traps on the figure. Not a big deal, but a clone freak like me notices these things lol.

As @chrisstruthers said, SW isn't super hot in Hong Kong (like Iron Man and Marvel is), the majority of their SW sales will be in Europe and in the states. The 501st clones have been the highest selling Star Wars HT for weeks, and Rex is now #3 and he isn't even in stock yet. They won't oversaturate the market like Sideshow did.

I'm happy with the 4 we have for now though and can wait for the next batch of troopers. They have the body and they have most of the assets, will see more clones in the future.

I say we’ll see some rank and file clones eventually, I honestly don’t see Wolffe or the like being made, just crazy we haven’t gotten the 212th yet considering he was the first standard clone ever shown off. Then again, Loki was huge and we haven’t seen a single figure from it so who knows

IF Hot toys are smart,they should do ALL the clone commanders.
I know this is not early 2000s now,but Sideshow,Hasbro and Gentle Giant all released them within a certain timeframe back in the day.
Id take them all with just the buckets,no need for headsculpts on the rest of these ones.

Thinking 1-2 clones a year (minus TBB characters) makes sense.

Doesn't saturate the market and collectors will still get excited for them.

they're are a business, not a puppet. Marvel has always a huge buzz in Asia region, and Star Wars is not.
