Ordered the deluxe set first chance I could and they keep pushing it back one month at a time. Made my last flex payment in March of 2023. Can't ever remember a figure being out this long and it taking Sideshow seemingly forever to ship.

Endgame Cap and the 1st Beskar Mando are the last ones that come to mind. They must have released this in a batch system without saying they are. Maybe to get it out sooner.

I wonder how many years into The Batman’s career it will be before he’s able to look as relaxed as he does here.

This just shed light on another reason I enjoyed this portrayal so much; Pattinson was constantly tense, anxious, furious, and barely contained. Even when he’s still, him simmering.

I imagine after year 3 when he has Robin with him. I like the idea that both Matt Reeves and Pattinson both are open to **** Grayson as Robin. I imagine after that he would have grown into his playboy Billionaire socialite persona. I would be happy to see him like BTAS version of BW and Batman. I also would like his Batman to be more compassionate towards his villains hoping to rehabilitate them.

Simple mod. Since modding the figure with to OT collar (or any collar that adds much needed height) the Pattinson sculpt now sits way too low. So I carefully pried out the existing connector and modified a generic rubber neck connector to sit at the right depth, trimming away excess rubber until I liked the length. It friction fits in the head, like any other and gets me the height I wanted. I saved the original HT neck connector since it can easily be restored, though I'm not sure I'd ever swap it back.

I put myself on the waitlist at Sideshow for the standard version a few months ago, but have heard nothing. Is the common wisdom that I should grab one on Ebay at this point, before prices rise too high, or should I still count on being able to get one from Sideshow?

Crazy that a standard Batman hero figure from a flagship Batman movie - once, Hot Toys' bread and butter - sells out long before it even releases nowadays.

Most of all their newer releases are selling out and going to waitlist now. As HT is making small quantities so SS doesn't keep a bunch of figures in their warehouse for years. After making a lot of units for Engame and star wars and them not selling they no longer want to risk losing resources and money so they make smaller batches which eventually sell out.

Just got mine in today. Fantastic release and relatively good value considering how insane prices have gotten. Still wonder how proportion issues like the cowl and short neck get approved, those stick out like a sore thumb.

Also I'm convinced Hot Toys is putting out mediocre capes on purpose because they know people will out out custom capes to replace theirs. It's almost like how Bethesda puts out buggy/unfinished games because they know modders will fix the game. All in all, a very strong effort from Hot Toys.

The funny thing about the cape is it's accurate but execution is horrible. We'll see how InArt's version is compared to what we have for this now.
