I had no issues with mine and was able to really get a stock DX12 body to sit on it very naturally aside from the limited neck. Sorry for the messy desk, I was in the middle of a few projects when I opened it.

I don’t know what overseas courier companies are like but the Australian company Toll Group is embarrassingly bad. They just do not care at all. Delivery was attempted on this just after I left the house (arghh!). The missed you card was slipped underneath a sticker on our security door and it was lucky I saw it. Filled in their enquiry form on their website and got a call from someone. Either pick up from depot 20km away or get it delivered on a specific day between 8 and 5. Choose to pick up because I’m an ***** and I’m rarely home. Spent nearly 30 minutes trying to find the place because they don’t publicize the address, there isn’t really an address and they hid the public entrance down a side street with no signage. Was kept waiting multiple times only to be finally told it wasn’t ready for collection even though both the person who called me and their website said it was ready for collection. Absolutely horrendous. It will probably end up going back to Kghobby.

The funniest, weirdest thing was I asked for a glass of water because i had been waiting for ages and he was like oh sorry we don’t have any water here. Ummm Toll is this how you treat your staff lol?? Too funny.

I have to finish off my story, just coz. I’ve got the Batpod now and waiting for my son to come so we can open it. Magically showed up yesterday not at the address I specified but at the local collection point one minute away which begs the question why didn’t they leave it there when they first tried to deliver. Courier companies are an absolute mystery to me. When I picked it up I asked the guy behind the counter about them and he said oh they are the worst, the driver is incompetent. Good to hear it’s just not me. I’ve sent them an email and tweeted them as well.

Just have to wait for DX19 now.

I am missing a few pieces from my old batpod like the right black handle that keeps on falling off from these things, Is there like a 3d print files for their parts that you guys know off? or is this something that could be scanned? sorry not familiar with 3d printing.

Late to the party with this.
After having the original release back in the day & selling it, I always thought about getting one again until I stuck a cheeky bid on eBay for the mms 591.
Managed to get it for £190 posted. Absolutely mint as new.
One of the rare bargains Iv got from eBay.
Really happy with it & the price I got it for makes me all the more happy

The prices on the DX19 are plummeting and going for less than MSRP. Likewise, the Armory (the figure by itself), the DX 12, the DX02 and the original MMS71 can all be had for more than reasonable prices. Not to mention you can go online RIGHT now and get a Tumbler and Batpod for retail and discounted.

Plenty of opportunities to get a solid Baleman and his vehicles.

Probably meaning lots of per-orders that were canceled, leaving them with more stock on hand than they would like, that they would prefer to get rid of before the end of the year, when they would have to pay taxes on it.

It's a recession. People are tightening their belts, and I imagine luxury plastic fighting men are probably the first on the chopping block.

Or perhaps HT has just oversaturated the market. There's only so many Marvel and Star Wars figures a person can buy, and the line has little diversity beyond that. That's just baseless speculation on my part, though.
