Was surprised to see this guy go up at Popcultcha, they must have had a few extras as he'd been pre sold out for months there, so I dropped some pennies and got him for $380 AUD ($275 USD), couldn't say no.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up! I noticed IG-11 wasn't coming up in a search until now. Popcultcha just awarded me some Pennies for my birthday recently, so I was itching to use them on something worthwhile.

However, my last order with them was sent in a plain extra cardboard box instead of the usual multiple layers of bubblewrap, which has always kept my shipments going across the Pacific safe and sound. I just hope they haven't suspended this practice.

I hate coming into this thread anymore and seeing happy people with pictures...

This is why I no longer PO figures and just wait for them to be in stock and shipping...

I got nervous when he went to wait list (I joined), then popped back up for PO shortly after and I immediately ordered him....

They got me...

I even used a $105 in RP's. If I didn't use them and waited, I now have more than enough that I would've gotten him for free.

Don't really get that logic. If you pre-order or don't pre-order it won't affect when SS gets them ??

Strange, my last couple of Popcultcha orders had no bubble wrap but IG-11 had copious amounts. Maybe they had just run out temporarily?

Glad to hear all this, guys! My last order was for a 3A Black Widow, which doesn't come in its own factory shipping carton like a Hot Toys figure. Popcultcha probably put it inside a shipping carton since a few layers of bubble wrap wouldn't entirely conceal the contents on its own.

My IG11 was shipped out today from Pop.
With my State in severe lockdown,id be surprised if he arrives Friday like my figures usually would.

Can't see the figure on the site now either.

Mine arrived today from Popcultcha! As other’s have been saying, it’s a great figure! My only concern are the very delicate fingers - and I’m having trouble getting him to hold the blasters properly. I’m not too worried about the rubber gaskets. I’ve photographed it next to my old Hasbro IG-88 - not sure I’m seeing $350 AUD worth of improvements lol - especially once he’s on the shelf! Still, happy to add it to my collection.

Congrats Darth_Z, cool comparison and great pics. They look very good together!

IG-11 should rack up some extra coolness points for the awesome articulation, and paint finish that blends into the surroundings. He has a level of corosion detail similar to that rusty drain cover. Lol

Agreed - although interestingly, the Hasbro figure has a ball jointed head - I was expecting the Hot Toys to have the same. I’ll have to re-watch IG-11’s scenes to see if he has better neck articulation in the show. Nonetheless, it’s an excellent figure with a stunning paint job.

Yep, the head swivels, as do two sets of “eyes”. And I hope yours arrives soon!

Oh really, a ball jointed neck... that is interesting. Did the SS IG-88 have the same?

As far as I know the figure goes from HK to the US (to Sideshow) first, to be then sent to a European distributor which then either sends it directly to my seller or perhaps even to another middleman first. With the current shipping crisis this could be a long wait for me still...

Hopefully this doesn't become the new standard. It would be very much appreciated to actually getting a figure for once instead of just amassing a list of (pre)orders.
