Yeah, I am with Nam. I think that had more to do with the movie flopping. If this movie tanks, I would expect to see the same result.

Well SE is up for preorder compared to GL who never saw the light of day. I'd say its safe to celebrate for those of us who like SE.

True enough, though I think SE is only up already because his design is fairly easy to get right, and no head-sculpt means no face to screw up. betting 8+ months before the next one is even teased.

Looks like Storm Shadow will be next in line as the new HT teaser seems to have him all painted up and hiding behind the Rock. Only Willis has yet to be confirmed yet.

Hidden like a true ninja in that pic. I still want a Sideshow SS, but I'll wait to see how the movie one turns out. It's mandatory to get a Storm Shadow figure since I'm getting Snake Eyes but the SSC one's going price is more than what I think the figures worth.

looks like he does has his tat, he is so bought. I was hoping Hot Toys would do a Dwayne (the Rock) Johnson figure, he and Colton are a must buy for me, with Storm Shadow running a close third, I want all four, but waiting on a release date...at nearly two hundred a piece I can't afford them unless they are space quite a bit apart on their release, otherwise it's The Rock and Colston. I really don't collect the G.I. Joe line too cartoony for my taste (the side show version) but I like these, the Rock and Colton will fit fine with my other figures, plus they can be made into other characters they have played. hopefully though I can get all four, and maybe if these do well, Hot Toys will consider doing Jinx and Lady Jaye.

The Rock figure looks badass. SSC better go full classic for their version because if its a choice between modernized Dwayne Johnson Roadblock or SSC's modernized generic Devil's Due-esque Roadblock then I'll go Retaliation all the way.
A collector/friend I know made his own ROADBLOCK figure utilizing the 1:6 "THE ROCK" head from LOADING TOYS on the Caucasian muscle base body released last year. He had to modify the internal head peg/post on the head to fit to the body. Granted, the head is not 100% identical to Dwayne Johnson's look in the upcoming film, but it's very close.

I agree. They really should do him instead of Colton. If they want to do a Bruce Willis, do the right one. Scrap Colton, use the head for a Good Day to Die Hard McClane and then make a Die Hard 1 McClane to follow up and people would be praising glory to their name.
Cobra Commander would just make for an awesome looking figure and Colton won't. He'll either be in a suit or slight military outfit. Nothing complex or unique like Snake Eyes, the Rock, or Storm Shadow.

Totally agree on Colton, I want Willis figure but not as a Joe. Even if some miracle the Joe movie rocks, I won't buy Colton.
