coem on folks... I could be somehow your second cousin of your mothers whom has a friend that needed a husband that was related to your brother-in-law who married into your sister that had a illegitimate child with her boss that became a famous singer who dated one of your employees that you hired that is probably your brother!

with the 2 in 1 V.2 of superman and jor-el.. I'm feeling alittle niffty that we don't have anything nor even a hint of new batman products!

WHERES THE BATMAN LOVE>?!?!?!?

I think in May we'll here someething regarding the Dark Knight figure. Would like to think we'll get a new Batman and Finger's crossed a Joker figure as well... With knock out head sculpts!

Yeah, I think it's only a matter of time. And I think we'll see amazing sculpts. Look how far they've come in the past two years.

I don't see them (Hot Toys) bothering with a re-issue of their Begins figure. Takara took the wind out of them sails, though I wouldn't put it past them to milk us, even more, with re-issues. I don't like re-issues. Yeah I bought the re-issued Rocketeer and I have the Takara pre-ordered, but I don't like the practice. I guess companies over there have a different mindset than that of their consumers.

But where is the Batman love? Somewhere over the horizon, at this stage, I'd say. People don't like the Dark Knights new digs. They didn't like Supeses garb either, at first. If they are going to strike they better do it soon. Hot Toys ought to beat the competition to the punch and get their Bats out into the marketplace and ride the wave of pre-order bliss, while they connive a variant to keep the more tight fisted of us happy they didn't buy the first issue. Maybe they are waiting for the Hollywood hype to do the dirty work, especially now that they have had to change tack. We may get to see more of the Dark Knights cossie and get to like it. More of a question of who is going to Jones it, I guess.

I'm hoping to see a new Batman and not a reissued version too! I am not a fan of reissued figures myself, it would piss me off if I bought the original off of Ebay for like $400+ to then be able to buy it again for less than half the price. Although the figure is amazing this strategy is kinda greesy.

I don't think we will see anything yet and especially not at the ToyFair in 2 weeks, its too early. I think they have something sturring, something around the time of the films release date.

I hope.

we'd better get a Christian bale sculpt alternate head or something, if not I'd be pretty piss..they're gonna milk us with a Bruce Wayne figure.

Honestly, The Hot Toys Batman I think is one of their biggest flops and was definitely outshined by the Takara version.

The head sculpt was NOT GOOD at all and more reminescent of the Keaton BATMAN head with its long ears and extensively pointy nose than it was the Batman Begins style. The actual suit looked "puffy" and bloated and not as conforming to the body as the Takara one...hence you got Batman looking fat. And though Hot Toys had some fantastic tailoring on how they constructed the suit, it ultimately hindered the poseability of the figure.

Unlike their Superman, the only way I can see Hot Toys doing Batman justice is just re-doing the whole figure (new suit, tailoring, headsculpt, etc.). They've grown in leaps and bounds since this figure was released and I'm sure they learned from this figure.

Hot Toys doesn't balk at double dipping - so I can't imagine they won't revisit The Dark Knight even if Takara does too. Medicom should just sit this one out though.

And Hot Toys has improved by leaps and bounds since then. Heck, they've vastly improved the last 6 months! Once they got the Pirates line, their sculpts went from medicom level, to Sideshow level (or better with that skin texture).

I fully expect a Joker figure.

I wouldn't mind a Takara Joker. I'd go for a Hot Toys one, but I'd be annoyed if he wasn't compatible with Takara Bats.

I'd also like to see a Gary Oldman Commissioner Gordon. Or is he not in the new one? Didn't he retire?

Oh no, he is in it. Haven't you seen the trailer yet? He is in it quite a bit. Probably even gets promoted to Commissioner in this one (became Lt. at the end of Begins).

A Gordon figure would be cool too.

I did see the trailer. One of them anyway. I must have missed him, or I just wasn't thinking about his retirement at the time. I was pretty focused on Bale and Ledger.

He played the perfect Gordon. Same with Caine as Alfred (might be up for one of him too).

Agreed. One of my favourite scenes from "Batman Begins" was the final roof top scene - after Gordan hands Batman the evidence bag with the Joker card and Batman is about to leap off....

Gordan: I never said thank you.....
Batman (turning around): And you'll never have to.....

I guess it's too early to hope for a TDK Harvey Dent by Hot Toys?

haha and I bet no one would be interested in a 1/6 Alfred but me. (I'm talking about the Michael Caine Alfred, of course).

Harvey Dent, yes. Two-face, no. I have no doubt they'd make Two-Face if they make the Joker.
