How Can I Remove Logo from Leather Jacket?

Greetings:

Has anyone successfully removed the painting from the back of DiD William Bowman's leather bomber jacket? If so, how did you do it?

I've had luck removing the emblems/insignias using acetone (rinsing with tap water here and there). I thought for sure the acetone would eat right through the material but I was mistaken. Not sure how it would take to leather, but you could try a little bit on a q-tip somewhere inside the jacket where you won't see it.

Maybe better will be nail lacque remover. That isn't so agressive. Or at start try scratch it with hot water with soap.
