Premium Format How did you fix the Range Finder Stalk on Boba Fett Premium Format (ROTJ)? It falls

As many reviews I've read has stated: the ROTJ Boba Fett Premium Format statue has a Range Finder (RF) Stalk that simply won't stay up for many people. This is the first PF made, not the new ESB style one.

What have you all done to keep it from falling?

I want to insert something (a shim?) that is removable, fairly non-visible, and keeps the RF Stalk standing up.

I'm thinking of placing a small piece of plastic (painting it silver?) in the earcap to hold it in place.
However, I wanted to check here first for some better suggestions.

Is it a metal stalk? It seemed to be some type of polymer, but that would certainly make it easy.
The stalk is the size of a toothpick, so I don't think its practical to attach magnets to.

I tiny piece of double sided tape. problem solved and not noticeable at all.

I used quake hold, small bead at the back of the slot. Allows me to still lower it if I want.
