How did You guys ship Statues to International?

this question always in my mind, i had problems finding the right affordable rates for international shipment, I ship from USA, my buyers are to UK, Urkaine, AUS, Germany, Asia.....it is near impossible these days with USPS postal service, as the size of the box either too BIG or too heavy?

and for FEDEX, UPS, DHL, they are charging insane price for one shipment, we are talking hundreds, near thousand to ship 1 package.

as we all know most 1/4 statues are huge and box are twice as big, so is other companys products

i want to know how u guys ship it? or is there a cheaper way?

i always use usps priority international, shipped quite a few pfs..never had any issue. Although i just drop them off with my doorman as our building has daily usps pickup, maybe if you dropoff in the post office they are more strict?

postage is around $55-70, and i always put the actual value of the statue (not gift or lowball $) on the custom forms.

ups/fedex is impossible for international for retail customers....dont even bother.
