Heh....dont ask why. And if you ask, or have a feeling why, its not. So...whats an easy way to do it.

As far as I know, home interent IPs are assigned by your internet service provider and you don't have access to change it.

Seeing as we track X-Freaks who try to rejoin partially by IP I doubt we want you to find out. :lol

You can get a dynamic IP address which changes automatically. I think the IP addresses that your ISP gives you is dynamic anyway. I think the static ones cost you more.

Most IPs are static now. If you're trying to do something clandestine and don't want to be traced - forget it. They will find you.

SBC is mainly dynamic and not static unless you pay a premium...
Charter is usually static.

There's ways of manipulating this, I've actually written and .exe in .NET to mask and send you NIC a different MAC address but I'm sure there's other ways to mask with some shareware out there somewhere... I'm sure that Dave wouldn't like me to broadcast the world on how to do this but there is a way... :monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

So I see the point they derailed you...
