This could be a long way off but I have plans to organise a Freaks get together......How cool is that!?
My plan is to obviously invite every member on here but initially I would have to organise it in the South of the UK which I know could be a problem for some people North of the country.
I do apologise in advance but if this proves popular, they could be more central in times to come.
My idea has been brought about because of my personal experiences with members of which have become friends and I thought that if only people I have met could meet each other I know they would get on so well....
The Plan:
I would like to make the gathering nothing more than some grub and pleanty of booze however there will be a hotel room if you need it!
It would be held in a pub in Southampton which is actually the only film / collecting memorabilia pub I know, it just happens to be run by a good friend of mine!!
He has contact with a nice hotel down the road from the pub and has promised cut price rooms,food and drinks!! I do however need to get a rough idea on numbers and then we can start talking about a price.
If it is something you would like to do, please let me know and I can start the ball rolling with dates etc.
On the other side of the coin, please tell me if you think its a crap idea and I will go and cry in the corner!
Anybody that would be interested in the future but can't travel so far down South I would love to hear from you as well! You never know it could be nearer you in the future......
