how does sideshow gift card work?

This is a bit confusing, i got a bunch sideshow gift cards, and understand you can only use 1 giftcard per item/order. However it's not even letting me to add more than 1 gift card to my account. Does that mean you can only use one giftcard for the WHOLE account?

but that cant be right because i could add multiple giftcards earlier, is it only some type of giftcards you can use once no matter how many you have, while others you can use add and use all of them (1 per order?)

But in a nutshell...

You can only use ONE (1) Gift Card per account/household from a single event/promotion (eg: If someone had two San Diego Comic Con Sideshow Gift Cards they would only be allowed to use one total).

If you have cards from different events/promotions that have not expired and are having difficulty adding them please do contact our Customer Service department (contact info can be found in my signature) and they can help investigate your account to see what the glitch might be.

ah ok thanks that make sense, i got some that was attached to the envelope outside of the shipping box, didnt even realize it was there until recently but the website wont let me add it, i assume it's from one of the events I already used a giftcard on.
