How does the SSC sculpt compare to the Lonnie's Hero Heads Indy #1 and #2?

I saw repaints of the SSC head and it looks great. Lonnie at H2 has made two Indy heads (a new more accurate one with stubble I think, see attatchment) and was wondering how people thought they all compared? Anyone got pics of the Hero Heads?

They dont compare. Sideshows is dead on Harrison Ford. However some people are using the Hero Heads fedora on their SideShow Indy.

I'd have to give it to Sideshow as well... factory paint lets it down a bit, but still the sculpt (especially when in the hands of the talented) is dead-on.

How is everyone's paint job coming along then and what needs fixing?

In terms of fixing only the fedora needs a rework... I used the frontline fedora on my Indy.. much more accurate than sideshow's... although getting the sideshow fedora off of the head was a nightmare.... other than that, it really is just the paint... the sculpt itself is fantastic..
I have used the forntline heads in the past.. (check my website link below and click the link to "Indy" at the top and you can see one the first version painted).. but the sideshow head just looks much better.

Are you posting this question because you don't agree with SS's sculpt being the best there is? Because it is and pics prove that! I agree that the rest of the figure needs some (slight) work, paint included, but arguing that the sculpt is off is a losing battle. If you didn't mean that then carry on. :D

SST's indy sculpt is indeed the BEST.. I can say that even though I'm the medikid.. I however will not defend the production paint though.

I've used both Lonnie's and SS Indy heads on a few of my custom indy's and really love they way they came out. I do agree that SS indy HS is spoton except for the paint job but that is easily fixed with a good paint job.

But Lonnie's indy HS as far as I'm concerned is one of the best non company made HS out there.

I think there is alot of people out there that have used the Lonnie HS and have'nt been dissapointed. pics below.

Is that "Clint-a-like" head above the 1st or 2nd one Lonnie did? Here's my paint-up I finished recently of the 2nd head:

I think people are saying that just cos the 2nd sculpt is squinting its eyes a bit but I guess it depends on how you piant it - mine worked out fine even though its a pretty bad picture (it looks much better in person of course).

the only thing on my indy that needs fixing is the holder that holds the whip.
