Cool, there's going to be some happy people. I absolutely love my diorama.

Here's the latest with my custom troopers. I hope you don't mind me posting on your thread:

Oh no! Please post more! That looks gorgeous!!! I am so happy that you love your diorama too! I am currently customising my Princess Leia for the upcoming Tantive IV project and I keep looking and posing and enjoying my own prototype. Still the crown jewel of my collection. The fact that I'm not growing tired of it (which is my biggest issue with collectibles), is a good sign! :)

Jazz, just left you a PM. Lmk if you need some assistance with the thermoforming. Might be easier using styrene versus plexiglass. Just a thought.
LETS GET THE "TIV Hallway" back on track!

Those troopers look great, is that a modified HT? How did you get the helmet looking so good?

I can't wait to see the results of he Tantive project! I'm sure it will be superb.

Yes, having this hallway makes me want to lose and take photos all the time, it's truly a piece of the movie-making prop magic in your own home. The HT figures are absolutely incredible inside of it. I need to buy more. More dollies!!

These helmets are scans of the ordinal prop helmets shrunk down to 1/6 scale. These will soon be cut up and then reshaped to make other variant looks.

It took a while, but I finally realized each trooper look has more to do with body pose and helmet angle than anything else, excluding the brow and front mask position.

Here is what I think a classic Stormtrooper look in this beautiful diorama; in what I feel is a real piece of the Death Star in my home

That looks awesome solo bones, but hot toys don't want people seeing a stormtrooper against a custom diorama, they want people to buy the new stormtrooper with death star background.
An idea they probably arrived at after no doubt seeing Jazz's stellar workmanship.
The timing is all just a little too convenient.

Sideshow or hot toys need to make one then. It's not like ssc has been making figures for like 11 years now. I know hot toys are making the stand but a bigger did I think would sell

Well, I have thought about other materials, including Styrene. I want to keep them as a backup because perfectionist me wants to use the same materials for the walls. Also, I think styrene would be too prone to damage.

That looks absolutely stunning Solo_bones. I LOOOOVE the helmets!

Thanks guys, I've been working on this idea of scanning an original helmet for three years, but it never worked out. Thanks to Adam I found one online after hiring a guy to work on my helmet to no avail. So I had him play around with the size and change print material and here it is...

Now imagine a Tantive hallway full of HT troopers (with these helmets) and HT Vader.

Leia is also ready for the Tantive IV
