Just something I was thinking about. I used to have stuff ONLY in my basment where my big TV is and never wanted to go beyond that. The type of stuff I moved towards collecting made me change that and more rooms now have displays. I now have 4 rooms with stuff in them and here is the breakdown.

1. Basment - GG Star Wars statues, busts and Clone Wars Maquettes. SS 1/6 Star Wars. Code 3 Star Wars ships. Master Replicas FX sabers, .45 Sabers and .33 Weapons.

2. Living Room - SS Star Wars PF's along the back wall.

3. Office ( 3rd bedroom really, but not used as one ) - Assorted SS PF's like Star Trek, LOTR and Tony Montana. Hot Toys Predators. Roncula's custom Mogwai and a couple of GG Matrix statues as place holders until more LOTR PF's come out.

4. Master Bedroom - T-850 Cinemaquette ( T-800 and TX to follow )

The reason I had so many rooms get involved is because I like stuff spaced out and not all crammed in together. I like everything to be on a nice shelf or stand w/o overcrowding.

So, how many rooms in your home have displays?

Only one, but I'm constantly trying to convince the powers that be to let me expand.

Just one room in a two-room apartment, but I definitely need more space. Do I need to live bigger for my collection or does my collection need to be smaller for my apartment? :(

i was given the 4th bedroom(the smallest of course) to use. i'm out of room in it. i think if i put a piece in the living room my girlfriend would cut it's head off. :(

Sounds like a lot of you guys are ***** whipped LOL!! :lol

Just kididng. I kicked my ex out because I liked my collection more than her :lol

I have an upstair office, which was a bedroom that was converted into a office, with installed Bookcases and such....that is the only room allowed to hold MY collection stuff....now my wife on the other hand has her stuff sprinkled all over the house.....except in my office. :D

One room in a two bedroom apt. that inhabits just myself. I've always had roommates, so living alone lets you expand--but I like having one room for it all that's not my bedroom. Then if I bring a lady home, I just shut the door and she'd never know.:D

Mainly the living room with LOTR and SW, but I have some miscellaneous pieces in the bedroom. I live in a small one-bedroom apt. so I don't have much room to expand the collection. I don't store anything. I want to display it all, so I like that the size of my place dictates the size of my collection. Keeps my spending in check. :)

i think it's more beat-down than whipped. i had them displayed in various rooms but the bitc&ing and bitc&ing and complaining (and crying) that went on about them made it not worth it so i conceded to one room. i love that one room though. when i finish out the basement i'll have alot more room.

I hear you. I have discoverd that I am best suited living alone. I am VERY picky about how my house looks and is decorated. I like black, gray, white and silver and not much color at all. I don't like clutter of any kind and I don't like things out of place ( Monk anyone? ). I can't stand goofy nick-nacks or stuff sitting EVERYWHERE.

My ex was a total slob and it drive me nuts so that along with her anger management problems meant she had to go.

I will date again in the future, but I'll never live with anyone again.

Just the one room is dominated (office/second bedroom) but there are a few small things hidden here and there.

One day I hope to arrange a setup similar to what Steve Sansweet has at Rancho Obi-Wan, though not even 1/10 the size of his collection, I still think a nice dedicated building/room like that where you don't have to worry about other things going on in the room would be great, and no windows so I don't have to worry about sunlight damage, and good locks on the door so children don't go playing with daddy's "toys".

I am still in the process of converting the largest room in my basement 20 x 30 into the home Theater. Nothing really fancy just a big room with a big screen and big shelves with big locks and lexon glass. I know thats probably too much but I have 5 kids and two are boys with the 6th kid on the way. My collectibles will need all the protection it can get.

I live in a one bedroom apartment...and have kept all my figures/statues in the living room....however if I get the 1:1 Hellboy bust, that may just have to go in the bedroom. But that would be it. My bedroom consisits of a whole different kind of collection....mostly rosaries that I've picked up all over the world and Catholic icons/relics that I found in Italy. It would be too strange to have SSC stuff in there. It actually would be REALLY strange to have a Hellboy bust with all my Catholic religious stuff....but for someone reason I like the thought of it. :lol
