Will a modeling knife shave surface defects (like unwanted bumps) off polystone, or do you have to grind them off with a Dremmel tool of some sort?

I think a dremmel would do the job, but it also depends on the type of bump you are talking about. Pics would be good in this case before advising you on what to do.

It just a small 2-3mm wide by 1mm long, probably 1/2 mm tall bump defect from molding. So, it's really small. It's on a Sideshow statue's face though. I want to remove the bump with as little paint removal as possible, so if I can't match the paint exactly, it's a not going to stick out so much. I feel like I'll have more control over a modeling knife, but I don't know how hard polystone is to know if I'd do any more than scratch off the paint.

No customizers can tell me if a modeling knife can shave off a tiny bump of polystone?
