How to display the new PF figures?

These are going to be some large figures. Lurtz stands almost 2 feet tall. I am not sure how many PF figures they plan to make, but if it's in the same ball park as the Pollystone then were are looking at maybe 25+ figures.

Has Sideshow said if the line will be that large? I would think they won't do these figures on horses and such because the sheer size of those would be huge, but I can see them doing all the main ones.

Has anyone thought of how or where they will display so many large figures?

I am doing both the PF lines for LOTR and Star Wars. I need a bigger house. I am thinking my LOTR Pollystone's may end up in storage if the PF line is going to be 25+ figures as shelf space is fleeting already.

Well, after getting Vader yesterday I realized just how much in trouble for room I am. I'm gonna try to display as many as I can and the rest may have to sit in a box for a while.

Does anyone know how large the PF line will be? Do they plan to make as many figures as the pollystone line? Far fewer? Any ideas?

Yeah, I hope so. I was thinking of canceling the Frodo and Lurtz and I have on pre-order since they have not really said much and there have been no more announcements since the Frodo.

I will not cancel yet as we have pleanty of time for more announcements before Lurtz is supposed to ship.

I agree. No need to cancel now, as it will be months and months before you are charged for either of these. You have plenty of time to think about it.

Yeah, I wouldn't cancel unless you have no money for them at the point they start shipping.

For me Lurtz is a must order noway I will cancel the big guy esp the exclusive, just been waiting to long to have Lurtz in his battle armour!

Agreed. If they announce the line will be small or canceled ( I doubt that ) I would probably only cancel Frodo and still get Lurtz.

Well if there going to make 'the fellowship' I will display those 9 and the coolest there going to make the rest has to wait in a box because in my current plan I can only display 12 to 15 PF's.

I'm getting ready to start building my own ideas and displays for my PF's.
I actually just picked up a miter saw over the weekend mainly for this specific reason.
I designed a generic idea over the weekend and I'll post it later tonite after Im back home.

I would love to see all 9 members in their outfits from FOTR. Though they are still Fellowship members in anyoutfit.

I already have my idea.

I am buying a large, black pedestal/block that will be in the center of my display room. It will stand 42" tall.

The entire Fellowship will be displayed on top of it, covered by a massive acrylic case that lines up perfectly with the base.

Each of the Fellowship will be side by side, forming a circle (more or less), facing the outside (towards you).

You can walk around the display and see all of them.

It should work out very nice and I plan to have a similar "baddie" display next to it...assuming they make enough bad guys...

Now Sideshow just needs to announce all of them!

Hopefully all in FOTR clothing.

I havent officially decided on what I want Lurtz' display to look exactly like, cause its still so far off, but I went ahead and designed out the display for my PF Nosferatu, which I hope to build this coming weekend.
I plan on making them all similar in style with different nameplates and making my Universal Monsters SSE's all with black cases as opposed to a dark stained wood for the LOTRs and others.

I am just planning on getting the PF LURTZ and ARAGORN!!!! I will have them both face each other as if they are about to duel. Hope they make Aragorn pose as if he is about to fight Lurtz.

If they make a PF balrog and Fell beast I may think about it.

Lucky you, I can only display 7 at a time, I don't have much space for the PF statues

Occulum, that display for Nosferatu looks amazing! I can't wait to see how the finished piece looks. I have been scheming up ideas to do a Rivendell display out of the pink polyfoam insulation all cut and painted, but I hope the line includes all the fellowship, and for baddies, a ringwraith (both in black and trueform), an moria orc, and a mordor orc and Saurman. Additional figures would be gravy after that!
