Big Thanks for the tips, as well as having the gigantic cajones to mess with a $275 statue. I am heading off to the hobby store tomorrow!

Some people have recommended thinning paint with windshield wiper fluid, as it has an alcohol base...any thoughts/recommendations with this?

Thanks peeps. As far as the windshield washer fluid...I'm sure it works, but plain rubbing alcohol works just as well. Not sure if there is any extra benefit to using the wiper fluid (except maybe it will be extra clean!).

I'll second that!!!! By the way, is this a good permanent fix by adding the paint on the material? I'm just abit hesitant to try that even though I do like how it turned out, the red doesn't bother me that much.

Just do what I did and just go buy some fabric and some two-sided tape. An easy fix thats not permanent.

Yeah, I saw yours...It turned out really good also...I may try that instead since it is not permanent...
