Hi everyone. We've all seen so many topics on how to paint a headsculpt, but I don't recall any tutorials on painting female faces. I have reservations on painting female faces as they need to be smoother looking yet not doll like.

What I did was I use acrylics and touch them up with women's concealer. I personally love the results, but I'm sure experienced painters could give out a lot more for me to learn.

Does anybody have any general tips on painting female faces with acrylics? Shading, eyebrow, eyelashes, getting the texture right and stuff? Do share here! Thanks!

Here's my work in progress:

Anywho... As far as female faces go, I'm pretty sure SilentSurfer would be best bet on that question.

Looks way better now. Nice skin tone, the cheek colour is especially well done also the new body helps.

I think you did a Great Job she looks more lively.

Thanks guys. I learned from experience that female heads are way tougher than painting male heads. I don't know if I ever dare to do more. Anyway, here's another that I did recently:

Some people have sent me PMs on how to do the faces. I'll just post here the video I saw that helped me a lot:
