Tonight it's a Hot Toys night - and it's all Aliens and Predators! First,I check out their new Lost Predator. Yea, I can't wait for the version one figure either, but this one is pretty damn sweet too.

i just receive and put my lost predator together a couple of days ago....

The pelvic armor was much tougher. In fact, I never did manage to get the closure shut in back. It doesn't really matter, since it looks fine (and isn't going to fall off), so rather than force it, I left it be.

i had the same problem. all it takes is a blast from a hair dryer for like 10 seconds and it'll snap together easily.

other than that, the biggest issue was the dreads. it took 3 tries of heating them and positioning them to get them right. and i'm still not sure it's permanent.

Really nice review, I like the Lost Pred, but have to pass, and it's really hard to pass on this cool figure...

Try with a rubber band (or 2) arround the head and then heat the dreads with a hair dryer...Wait a few hours and voila :issue solved.
Seriously I Did the same with mine almost two months ago and the results are incredibles and therefore PERMANENT

Still no notice from Sideshow about my dog alien. They're slow.

I'm liking the paint on it and also the detail of all the ribbing, front and back. Still not mad on the fish-lips, the forward pointing teeth and the hooves.

edit - NNoooooo! Just looked at the Lost predator review and damn it looked good. The best pics I've seen yet. I'm tempted to get it even though I don't have the P2 Elder.

I'm planning a review of the Lost Pred as well, but have a couple of others in the works first. I shall take plenty of pics of the clan when I do, but for now here are a few of the Elder and first two Pred 2's-
