how would it not? Takara's BB could clip the batarangs on his belt, they could incoroporate a system like that.

put little clips in the grooves to hold the blade while they're folded down, and a slot to hold the blades vertical.

More likely lost blades with no control over where they launch too. Though that was one of my favorite moments in TDK, just the mix of music and buildup, "by the way, you know how I got these scars..." "No, but I know how you got these..." Very reminescent of Nicholson getting the bullet to the face in Burton's film the way Ledger reacted.

I will take photos in a sec and post a few up .
My little review on this figure ...


Its awesome for starters and looks brilliant on display.
The top of the chest area could seriously do with some sanding and also the hips and as its been nicknamed " the beer belly " could too.
I have noticed without the belt in my opinion the stuck out belly isn't as noticeable so maybe with a little messing around it could look alot better.
Without the modifying though it does look bad ass.
The sculpting on both the outfit , cowl and Christian bale sculpt is top notch.
Overall I'm very very pleased with this figure.

I haven't ordered the original TDK suit because I have Takara's BB. I'll be receiving the new TDK suit shortly.

I was curious how they would look together. The pics are great but there is a big variance in the figures (IMO).

Yep , there very different figures and are both fantastic in different ways.
I think the takara cape has yet to be beaten , its an awesome awesome figure overall and I think was originally more popular than the original suit that hot toys made for batman begins.
I don't remember much of the hot toys one being discussed anyway unless they were released in different time frames.
I think both of these have there awesome points and bad points if I was to nit pick.

Like most I'm not a fan of the Dark knight cape but unless something cheaper and better comes along I can live with it !

With my house and the UK in general always being so dark I think I need some !

This figure seriously rocks !

Oh yeah forgot to mention that after seeing the sculpt on the bale head in person I am definitely going to buy a true type body and make a custom suited Bruce Wayne.
