Haven't really seen it mentioned anywhere, but the reason the cape doesn't lay flat for folks on the shoulders is the clips HT use. The cape clips to the armor, I thought it had like excess cloth you tuck under the armo, but there's extra plastic to the clip that shoots back and up and that's what's making the cape rise for everyone.

You can actually get it to lay flat, but it took me some time to figure it out and I had to move the chest armour about back and forth in order to get the clips in and lay flat. However, my cape still flares up a little bit because I think its the way the clip was sewn/glued to the clip. It sort of bunches up.

Thanks for the pointer, I see photos where the cape is clearly running under, but with the clips used as intended, it overlaps. I'll have to do this before I start my photos when I get home.

The only flaw I really find with this figure of a problem, and even it is relatively minor is the beer belly, it's weird but the suit is incredibly thick at that spot so you can even squish it in, but at least it just looks like thicker armor, the shape doesn't totally suggest beer gut. Some promo images even look like there is a subtle one on Bale, but subtle, not as strong.

I understand folks wanting maximum forward posing on the head, but I'm quite please with it from the factory, and I love the extra articualation you get in the head because of making the figure for riding the pod.

MaulFan, a question.

Since I put the Tak cape on my OS Bats, I'm planning on using the original HT OS cape on TDK Bats when I get him.

Do the clips come off of the TDK cape or will I have to stuff the collar of the original cape into the armor and hope it sticks?

The clipse are stitched, possibly glued as well, into the cape, but if you're not planning on keeping the TDK cape, you could probably just shred around them and then find some way to attach them to the Begins cape.

Sorry, I should have posted, I didn't do any mod, I did a photoshop mod. One of my few issues with this figure, the armored neck was made just for the cowled head, you can't even put the Bruce head properly on it and even if you could it'd be so giraffe necked it'd look stupid.
