hey, i know that there's a movie thread but i was wondering if there is a dvd giftbox set available for this, like the im and indiana movies??

No word on gift sets or exclusives yet, except for the exclusive comic coming with the DVD sold at Walmart. Much like the one that came with the Iron Man DVD, it expands the story in the film with Nick Fury leading up to the Avengers.

Also, Marvel has a Iron Man/Hulk/Fury comic coming on 12/3/08 that features more stories set in the Marvel Movieverse. One of the Marvel video blogs state they're working with the studio to make these stories part of the offical Movie continuity.

Pretty cool, I think.

There is a 3-disc version on top of the "regular" edition but that's all I've heard of.

Not sure if I should go Blu-Ray or regular DVD with this movie. Then I hear about all the extra footage. So I assume there will be an extended edition by next year. They sure get you with these dvd's.

Why SS didn't follow through and give us stuff from the Hulk film I'll never know but anything at this point would be a welcomed addition to my collection.

The Hulk moive really got short changed in the collectibles area. As far as full size statues Iron Man also got hit low. I remember SM3 statues were flooding the market immensly.

that ^^^^ty film is what did it most likely. The SM3 stuff was rotting the shelves so when we got masterpieces like The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man, SSC was hesitant to pull the trigger. The ramifications of that POS is still being felt.

I think the Sideshow owner didn't like the movie so, they ignored their license.

I think that is very true. That movie had to ruin the fun for all of us.

I held out buying any Hulk or Ironman statues from other companies, hoping for Sideshow to release their own.

True, but they can make it up to us in 2011. I would expect any company with a Marvel license to give us an all-out, balls-to-the-wall buttload of Avengers product, which would include the Hulk.

HT, however, can give us some Hulk love. Any. Day. Now.

A dio of movie Cap, IM, Thor, Antman and Wasp taking on the Hulk would friggin rule. Prefferably from Sideshow, since the Koto Hulk stuff looks "meh" at best.

I to am going to hold off for now. I was even considering picking up the Hot Toys Line-up but I would much rather see Sideshow do some nice maquttes. The 1:1 bust is my favorite so far but I would rather see the chracter as a whole.

target has a exclusive packaging where the hulk is breaking threw bricks when you open it. take a look theres a pic of it on the new target ad on the site
