The ill Jedi
ILLest of 'em all!!
...a couple of days ago and it's in great condition, all of the pegs line up, no chips in the paint, everything lights up...Except the Sentinel Head!
Now I've been reading a thread at Statue Forum where some board members there thought they had problems with theirs and it seems that most had some paint residue around the connector on Colossus' arm. Mine has the same thing on both the foot and arm connectors, at first none of the lights worked, but I removed the strips on the batteries and viola (minus the head)! Here is a suggestion that someone posted at SF about how to correct this and I hope if I do the same it will work.
Has anyone else had this problem with theirs?

I thought the residue on the connectors might have been the problem, but I didn't bother trying to scrape it off when I unpacked it, I am going to try it tonight and hopefully it will work.SUCCESS! I plugged the adapter directly into the head and it lit up, so no problem there. But I did notice there was some residue (glue, resin or whatnot) all over the connecting plug on Colossus' hand so I took an X-Acto (how appropriate) and scraped of the gunk on the hand and on the foot for good measure. Fitted the head back on with a little more pressure, crossed my fingers and pressed the power button and it worked!
