I Just Saw the first Episode of the Sarah Connor Chronicles....

And I thought it was absolute rubbish, I watched half an episode and thought this isn't even worth watching
I completely craps in the face of continuity eg Terminator 3 When John is talking too the Arnie Terminator (T-800???) and he says "you shouldn't be here we stopped Skynet" but if they stopped Skynet then why does a Female Terminator come back and a bad "teacher" terminator come back and you suddenly cannot remember when you talk too the Arnie Terminator????

The whole Terminator has been milked to a point of no return, and it doesn't help with the fact that Terminator 4 is apparently going too have a PG-13 rating I mean come on If your going to make a decent Terminator film send Arnie back in Time but we can't do that anymore so the only way I see Terminator working now is having a full scale Human Vs Machine war, But will it happen?
I'm just going too leave the bits in between (the bits being Sarah Connor and her Chronicles) and wait for T4 and hope it turns out better than this new TV show of the same name

I'd like too know if anyone shares my opinion

i actually disagree and like the show. its not the best thing on tv right now, but its certainly entertaining.

I couldn't stand the show either. We (wife) watched five episodes and both hated it.
It just really didn't make any sense what-so-ever, and the whole time travel machine in the bank was pathetic.
Why is John so worried about going to school all the time?
How in the hell did the terminator body get to the junk yard without his head? Have Terminators got eyes in their chests now?
It goes on and on how much this show ^^^^s on the continuity of the films.

I don't think I will see as much of this TV series as you have Racewind I don't think I could handle another half episode

I can't remember too much about the first episode, but wasn't Summer, or whatever the girls is called, flirting with John and being very human like? Then after everthing kicks off she turns into emotionless Terminator cliche?

I like Sarah Connor Chronicles a lot. I feared it might share the same fate as Bionic Woman, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. I can feel with the characters, and that's a rare thing for me in a tv show. I'm looking forward to the second season

The 'We stopped Skynet!' comment could be related to the series finale and therefor creating continuation.

This series could be a good reason for HT to make a Lena Headey figure

Also I always wondered why Skynet didn't just send one Terminator back in time for every day until it could wipe out the human race before anyone could do anything to stop it. Or is that getting too metaphysical?

People keep saying that, but the police or FBI guy ( whoever it was ) said she had put kevlar in the chair when they showed up at the house after the shooting. Yeah, it's a silly thing to do ( putting kevlar in the chair ), but at least the did cover why a fabric chair was bullet proof.

The continuity is explained by the creators of the show...

The show follows on in the universe in which John Connor was 10 during T2 (the T2 we saw)...

T3 follows an alternate T2 in which John Connor was 13 at the time...

It still doesn't make much sense...

In the first movie, Skynet just managed to finish building the time portal and send Arnold through before the Humans destroyed Skynet and used the Portal to send Reese to stop him. It really doesn't make any sense that anymore Terminators could come back after that at all. So if you like T2, it's best not to think about it.

HAHAha that sucks! i mean, ok, then lets do another Alien3 movie (that takes place on another aleternate dimension ) were Hicks lives and kicks some Alien butts. Thats an easy way to explain things...
