I must be bored today

Ya sometimes at work you just get bored @ work and start thinking or figuring things. Well, the kids are taking their state required tests starting this week so things are slow and quiet. So I started thinking how long would it take me to get to 50k posts. I don't know why but it was just one of those things that I figured what the hell how long.

Based on if I avg around 40 posts a day which is probably closer to what I average than the 33 it says in my profile. I'd get to these markers:

35k- SDCC 2008
40k- Halloween 2008
45k- March 5th 2009
50k- July 8th 2009

Don't know why it matters nor is it anything important but I got bored and thought it would be worth doing while everyone tested. Then, I thought since I took the time of actually figuring this out I'd share it and make the time wasted worth while (sort of anyways).

Anyways back to things that matter like Toys.

I only post about 7 posts a day according to my profile so I think its safe to say by the time Josh reaches his 50K I probably still won't hit the number he has now.

I'm bored as well, all my classes today are art classes so I really don't have anything to do. Yey for an hour of class time spent surfing the internet. Then I get to spend an hour trying to stay awake while we talk about storyboards.

We still have 2 more weeks of testing coming up. So.......

What? You don't believe the board can do math???

Actually, remember that your post count came over from EZBoard, so that average is artificially inflated with something like 10,000+ posts when it tries to figure the average number of posts per day since Sept. 2005, so the average is in all likelihood, lower than 32.46! So, if we round everything off, and pretend you had 10,000 posts when the new board started, and you currently have 30,000 posts, that would leave 20,000 posts since Sept. 2005, or approximately 21 posts per day!

That's true it is lower. I'm probably still at 40 though I mean when I started figuring the numbers this morning I was at 30, 531 and I've added like 35 posts since then. My main goal right now is to get to 35k by SDCC.

I've never paid much attention to my post count. I'm actually kinda surprised how high it is. I average about four posts a day. I probably do more than that, but some days I don't post at all so that drags down the average.
