I am going to finally build my display room. I have some large items (queen facehugger, chestburster, predator statues ect) I am not sure what kind of tables/bases to display them on. I have looked at walmart, furniture stores, malls and many other places and I can't seem to find cheap generic stands. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks so much guys!

I have mine on Rubbermaid shelves. Got them at Home Depot. The ones you put a rail on the wall, and two support brackets come off that and that's where you secure the shelves. I have the FvJ PF Jason on the top shelf, so they're sturdy.

Don't want to go too cheap if you have that big of pieces.

yeah some of the bigger pieces are heavy and large (like 10 + pounds) I need like some kind of individual stand for them or table type thing. I tried home depot today as well but they only had stands for smaller things and shelves.

Yes, come to think of it there is an Ikea near me. I will check them out! I have heard they have a huge selection cheap so I will def see if they have anything I could use. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm going to need something to display my HT figures as well.

I thought about trying casesforcollectiblesdotcom but not sure yet, I may just go ahead about buy a few of those glass curio cabinets for around $160... I hope they keep dust out as well.

Be careful not to put your 10 pounds pieces on large shelves. You might try the detolf from Ikea, with 13 pounds max per shelf.

Good luck finding those. They've been discontinued.

Nope, the thread that talks about the Detolf discontinue has an update. They are NOT discontinued, just had problems with manufacturing and they are set to arrive in stores again around the middle of August.
