Try deleting the account and set it up over again.Yeah, it shows me all the emails but I cant view none of them....
Also, reset the iPod, see if that works.
What email provider are you using?
you might have to clean out your actual email account. my iphone stopped downloading new emails at one point but when i cleaned out my account, it worked fine again.
I had changed my password so needed to update my i pod with the new one you might want to try that too.

Whoa, before you go deleting accounts or restoring the device, have you tried a reboot? Press and hold the sleep button up top until you get the slide to turn off screen. (or maybe it will just turn off without a slide) Then turn the device back on by pressing the sleep button once.

i should be getting an Ipod Touch pretty soon - won one in a contest - once i get it, i'll look into the email issue.
