Noble Collection makes some really crap stuff and also some really great stuff. They tend to not be on the radar because they don't do limited editions and they aren't nearly as marketing savvy as even GG or MR, much less the marketing masters - SSC. But their Harry Potter collectibles have been fairly decent and this is one I've really wanted. Sure I wish that it showed a moving Peter Pettigrew, but this is a really good Muggle version of the Maurader's Map.

Looks really nice. I just got a new Noble catalog in the mail the other day. They have a lot of new Harry Potter stuff.

Nice Dave!!! :rock I get the Noble catalog too...didn't notice this though. I bought the LOTR ring from them a few years back (the one that spins) and I enjoy wearing it on occasion. :D

Edit: I just pulled out my catalog and there it was! :lol
Edit again: I am tempted to get the Death Eater Mask collection...that looks super cool.

Cool, I have been thinking about getting this along with the display case. Looks good.

Very nice Dave, I had no idea this company existed living in my isolated SS world. I really like the Davinci code stuff. Nice

That is really cool! I just recently bought my first wand from them. Very nice quality. I want to pick up the illuminating Voldemort one next.

I buy alot of the Noble HP stuff, but it got alot more interesting. Alot of new stuff that is hard to pass on. I'll be getting this map, and I'm trying to complete the wand line. The brooms seem hard to pass, but Noble is up or down so I'm waiting for pictures, hopefully someone here gets it.

That's pretty cool. I've thought about getting the wands, but I like the style wands from the first two movies more so I've also considered getting those from the company that makes them. They're nice too, hand carved from wood. What are the Noble wands made of?

Resin I believe. they are still really nice. I actually like the wands they make more than the original ones used in the first two movies. They have a little more character IMO. Just a matter of different taste though. I am sure the replicas you're talking about are VERY nice since they are hand carved from real wood.

I dunno that they are really any nicer. Being made from wood is a plus, but if you can't tell the difference when looking at them then I don't think it matters much. And I don't think they are official replicas but wands made too look like the ones in the first two movies so that brings them down a bit as well. The company also makes other wands that are pretty cool too.

I can't speak for a lot of their stuff, but the HP chess set is very nice and very detailed. I was lucky enough to be working at the sculpting shop that sculpted the actual pieces, and had the honor(and fun) of sculpting about half the pieces.I did the rook, the pawn and the knight outright, and touched up the king, queen and bishop- hey, I guess I worked on the whole set! Anyway, it was a fun job, and rather challenging, as we had to acquire most of the reference material ourselves(Noble didn't seem to realize what we would need)...PS

That looks glorious. Love the Noble stuff, if only I could afford their chess sets. But I digress, looks like I will be picking this one up though.

I really like the wands, they're even nicer than the more expensive ones from Japan. Draco's is similar to the ones used in the first movie - just rather boring wooden dowels. The Noble ones do have a lot of character - just get the Triwizard set - each is very distinctive and creative and fit the character they're designed for very well. I'd guess that they're all cast in resin, but I can't really tell, they might as well be wood.

As for the brooms - they're kind of expensive - I haven't really decided on them yet.
