i suffered a terrible loss today.

well about 20 minutes ago , my mom called and told me my grandpa died of bone cancer this morning.my dad and mom were both with him in florida.i knew this was coming.i just didn't know when..i am bummed and lost...

So sorry to hear this. You can take some comfort in knowing that he wasn't alone and isn't suffering anymore. It doesn't help heal the wounds and the pain of loss unfortunately...only time can do that. My thoughts are with you and your family during this sad, sad time.

don't remember this day , remember the good days. When my grandmother died , whenever I thought of her it alway reminded me of the day she died. Its best to remember the days when you were laughing and smiling and enjoying yourselves.

Hey Turtle I am so sorry for you. I lost my grandma in 97 and I still miss her, but I also know as Jen said, she is happy and free from pain, take comfort in that. Again my deepest sympathy.

Sorry to here about your loss, my granddad died a couple months back...like all these guys are saying, try to focus on the good times you had together.

My father died young of cancer. It was hard. At first you only remember the death and all, but after awhile that fades and you remember all the good times. Things will trigger memories and it makes you smile.
