He wasn't in my plans, but I also was sincerely blown away by this figure. I can't recommend him enough, and if the rest of the line is anywhere near this quality there will be a lot of happy collectors and sad wallets.I've no interest in this figure, but I just spotted him on the front page of BBTS and it looks like they have some more stock coming in at the end of the month if anyone has been waiting to get him:

They confirmed Akuma after Ken so I am super excited for that!!!! That was biggest wish aside from SF6 Ryu
Oof, same here. I think/hope they would, as it's another skin/version in SFV to have his classic hair/head design. Crazy though, as his face shape actually changes too. Not sure how they would incorporate that, if they would actually make a different sculpt. Kinda hope they just go for the OG look, like on the left. See here:That’s great but really hoping they offer a classic / short hair sculpt like with Ken, I cannot stand the SFV Akuma design
Don't lose hope. The owner of Iconiq Studios, Andy, had said in an interview when asked about Chun-Li becoming a possibility, his response was this: "Chun-Li is a character we definitely want to make. It's just that she is also Capcom's baby. The shining star. There are a lot of gates to get through to get her license, and she's very protected in regards to that. But if allowed, we would definitely make her."The hopes of the Chun-li have fallen
Begun…the Shoto wars have.
I asked Andy about this initially. And he said expect the classic looks of the characters first. That’s why SFV Ken was classic and not with the training shirtOof, same here. Pardon the para-phrasing, but it was along those lines. They definitely have an interest in making her, and I'd assume it's just a matter of time before they do, but as he said, she's very protected and it might take a bit longer to get a hold of her license. If Medicom can do it, Iconiq certainly can do it (but better).
Anyway, with SF6 release date less than a month away, I'm still dreaming about future SF6 Ryu releases Hoping Iconiq is one of them!
Makes perfect sense. If you're doing a high-end collector figure, you want to lead with the most iconic version of those characters.I asked Andy about this initially. And he said expect the classic looks of the characters first. That’s why SFV Ken was classic and not with the training shirt
Or rather, the most Iconiq version. I'll see myself outMakes perfect sense. If you're doing a high-end collector figure, you want to lead with the most iconic version of those characters.
That would be sick. With translucent plastic hair and LED in the head so the hair and eyes light up. DamnnnnClassic Akuma is my all time favorite version of him, but if we ever got an alternative, I would love to see Oni.
