Dug this out recently, due to my cleanup, my repainted MacFarlane Queen, and thought I'd post a pic of it with my HT guys....

from certain angles, it makes one wish....

If only.....

i dunno wtf i'd do with a 1/6 queen.

the HT ED-209 is too big, too rare and too expensive as it is.
a HT queen would be 2x the size, 3x the cost and every last one would get scalped on ebay for thousands.

it's the kind of thing that makes me think collecting 1/6 stuff isn't worth it.

Yes, too true...but seriously....:D
I'm gettin' one if it hits! Regardless! :rock

Les, you tease!
I can see your WIP McF 12" alien in the background...

The McF queen is so inaccurate it's not even funny, but it's a cool figure nevertheless.
Maybe NECA will give us an accurate one.

I do wonder what HT has got up its sleeve though...

Fantastic repaint, BTW!

MacFarlane did a nice job with their Queen... I just hope HT is willing to take a risk on it. Truly would be a centerpiece for a collection :rock

how could hot toys lose money?............at least make as many pieces as the power loader..........im thinking that it should come in about that price or maybe a little more..........regardless im gettin' her. a little trip to the bank with a stocking mask should cover it eh'? .........:monkey3

Howard and the HT Design Team really want to make this happen so I'm sure it will happen. And when it does, anyone who dumped their Power Loader will be reduced to tears because that piece will jump in value immediately.

The ultimate display is a "poseable" 1/6 Power Loader and Queen. And some of us are getting in on a Custom Newt, so we gonna have us some fun.

Makes me really want to give in and get the Power Loader now. I know I can get a deal on that somewhere. I have a strong feeling that HT will make this Queen dream a reality.

But...

What are the estimations on price point for the Queen if she does materialize from Hot Toys?

:horror

think of what a rabid collector with unlimited funds would pay, and add 20%, or so.
that should about cover it.

until it ends up on ebay, then sky's the limit.

^^^^, ill get a 1/6 Queen if its the last thing i do..

*robs bank, flys to hong kong, forces HT to make a 1/6 queen, and pays for some reason???

There already is a 1/6 Queen on the market.
Only drawback is that it's a kit that costs $1000.

It's made by a company called Artomic.
For the price it goes for, I'd expect it to look more accurate.
