Which one should I buy? I have the cash for one of the two. I am starting to like Apple products quite a bit. I have the Iphone 3gs and I just got my first mac computer (Macbook Pro 2010). I really want the IMAC but it's gonna be $2,300... If I got a PC, it would only cost me $1100 to deck it out fully. I already have a display i could use, its not great but it will do for now. I would prefer the Imac but im not sure? What are the pros and cons, and does one out way the other?

So what do you guys think?

Hmm. I'm not help other than to say seems for those reasons that getting a top shelf computer seems like way overkill unless you are rolling in money. I'd rather do something more important than blow a wad like that on a computer that would be obsolete in 2 years.

I love my Mac. Won't buy anything else here on out. However if your primary use is gaming I would say go the other route. For everything else Mac all the way.

i love mac, easy to use. i could say idiot proof...i may have to take that back.:lol
but if you plan on playing some games, stick with PC. more compatible games for PC.

IMO, both have its pros and cons. pretty much boils down to what you use it for, preference wise too. :]

I think as long as you have an i7, you'll be set. As many have said, both have pros and cons.

I think I want it mainly for its display. I hear it is the only one like it on the market. I hear the display it's self would cost $1500 on it's own. So, your basically paying for the display and getting a high end computer attached to it for a few hundred more.

I will be doing mainly internet browsing and video and movie watching on it. I do play games, and I know that mac's are not game friendly, but I only play a handful of computer games, all of which are available on Mac.

Just not sure if i should get the i7 or the i5? or if i should get the 2TB hard drive vs the 1TB? As well as the 1 gig or the 2 gig Video card?

Decisions decisions...

Ditto. :D I simply adore the Mac interface. It's so, easy to use.

Q: How can you tell someone owns an Apple product?
A: Don't worry, they'll tell you.

The PC will do everything you want for half the price.

I'm sure the display isn't worth $1,500

If you're thinking of good displays, I think Dell makes some good ones that are supposed to be highly accurate in color representation.
