Well, if it ever were to be released in theatres, I'd say two movies.
I voted one.. But if Snyder wanted two I am good with that also.
Super8 is not an option?
That was actually my first thought but I didn't want to date myself too much lol.
Regardless of the medium I think the entire thing should be shadow puppets while Snyder voices the characters a la Rick Moranis/Dark Helmet in Space Balls. That way good ol' what's-his-name can't accuse him of lightening anyone's skin tone.
Don't be afraid of being too old. It is good to know things.
