which HT releases? Bruce?Oof, I can definitely see the drop in quality. First Hot Toys releases some truly terrible stuff, now the InArt Phoenix Joker undelivers. Bad week for sculpts
Well, it's also IA fault for using such an unflattering lightning and angle. It's the second time this happens, same thing with The Batman production pics they posted on their socials. Are we absolutely certain we’re NOT “rinsing and repeating” our knee jerk reactions to initial reveals like we have for EVERY release thus far?
Guys…c’mon. How long have we been doing this? Have we not learned anything at this point?
Let’s remain calm. Making observations here and there is cool…but immediately saying it’s “garbage” and “wanna cancel-“
People, let’s chill and wait for the ‘influencer batches’ videos and photos before we start selling off our entire InArt collection because of “reasons”.
I swear some here are just clawing at any chance to deem InArt as this colossal failure and their very existence somehow harms their well being. Not calling anyone in particular out, but relax. Wait for Justin’s, Jedha’s, willfoxification’s, Riley’s, breda’s, and various Chinese influencer’s videos to drop and THEN let out all of your pent up feelings.
I think we ought to accept that photography isn’t this company’s forte. Funny enough, the company I dislike the most among the 1/6 - 1/3 licensed companies because of their weird marketing and some of their figures is JND, but I have to admit that photography is where they excel.I think we ought to accept that photography isn’t this company’s forte. The industry standard should probably be higher to in turn promote their products better, but I think what Brooklyn is saying is sound and fair.
That's the only thing they excel at...lmaoFunny enough, the company I dislike the most among the 1/6 - 1/3 licensed companies because of their weird marketing and some of their figures is JND, but I have to admit that photography is where they excel.
I definitely agree with this take.Funny enough, the company I dislike the most among the 1/6 - 1/3 licensed companies because of their weird marketing and some of their figures is JND, but I have to admit that photography is where they excel.
Shhhh… careful now, might rub some folks in here the wrong way..That's the only thing they excel at...lmao

and with this I take back my MegaMind commentNgl I'm struggling to see the downgrade that people are talking about with the red coat version.
Outside of the difference in lighting, camera, paint placement and styling of the rooted hair, it looks to be the exact same base sculpt without any adjustments to it. The nose, the lips, everything is the exact same as the prototype.
As a matter of fact, I think the hairline on the production is now more accurate compared to the sharper widow peak they were doing on the prototype. They also moved down the red painted eyebrows on the forehead and the blue arrow eye marks were adjusted slightly.
If you were happy enough with the prototype to put down $300, I don't see what's changed here. Outside of the sequel being complete **** but that's an entirely different topic.
