I wonder if the baseball cap, backpack, water flask, and bandaged hands will also be included…
They said backpack will be, I feel the bandaged hands are a must.
A cap would ruin InArt's rooted hair and would be hard to accommodate to the sculpted hairs.

That is fine, but man they are way behind schedule now for everything else now. Lots of people are going to get frustrated. Me included. All other figures they teased are now around 6 months delayed.
Ahh, look at that. Becoming just like Hot Toys.

Those of you that have nitpicked InArt to death over A-Z, you're likely the ones to blame on any delays. And I'm just observing as such from the outside in as I have no stake in this as I'm not purchasing it.

Not looking to throw shade, just sayin'. I find it to be an interesting perspective in the world of collecting.

Id wait an extra 2 years if it meant I got the best product, I love a good dopamine rush but these things also cost a lot of money and I'm not looking for a figure thats decent for a week then I lose interest in after that.

Would be pretty nifty if Topo could make a cap that paired with a less bulky swap out hair piece made to fit the HT head.
Could even do it with some real hair strands. Custom artists, get to work.

I get both sides to this.
The collectors are probably to blame for the delays in releasing this figure as every time it shows up a show/convention there is another list of changes “needed” to be made to it. And I agree that I want the most accurate and detailed piece possible but there is also such a thing as too long. People lose interest in a figure/property as time goes by. That could result in cancellations that would hurt InArt’s and resellers bottom line if they get left with dead stock. With the batch system in place it is entirely possible that people don’t get their shipping notice until the end of the year/early next year and then we are less than a year out from a sequel and probably a new suit.

I'll be happy with displaying him with the HT sculpt. It can still work with the cap on the Inart rooted sculpt. It might squish the hair a bit but it won't ruin it. It'll work like a real hat, and you can always remove it and display him with just his hair all messy.

Haha you’re not wrong. It is definitely their most nitpicked figure so far.. plus don’t forget the two pack box will be huge. The thing is the cowl updates are already finalized I believe it’s just other issues they can be dealing with now.

I'm so used to long delays in this hobby things like this don't bother me anymore.

Plenty of recently released and soon to be released figures from Mars Toys to keep me busy while waiting.

For figures I really need in my colletion, I can wait. Because those are characters I am emotionally attached to.

And then, there are figures, preordered because of hype of the movie or FOMO. Like this one.
I like the movie. I like the character. Might be an awesome figure, too. But no emotional attachment to it.
The longer the wait, the more I want to cancel it...

I totally relate to the sentiment here. So in my case, this is one I waited a long while to order to make sure in my own mind that this was something I really wanted on the shelf. If it isn't a character from a truly classic film that I know I will care about for the rest of my days, I have to give it a fair amount of thought.

But I'm at a point in my life where I am in no rush for any of this stuff. So long as I don't invest more than a smallish deposit on something, I don't really worry about it after it is ordered. When it comes it comes.

:goodpost:
Very well said. This is my exact thought process on it anytime I think about this figure/version of the character.

If it's truly June 2024 then people who ordered at spec fiction may have to wait Q4 2024
lol, make it Q4 2025 knowing those turds 🤣
Yes, I'm still salty about the inart joker taking so long, the fact they sent the invoice for that in May and didn't ship until the 3rd week in July.

A Batman figure being dead stock? will never happen.

I just hope the wait is worth it, no updates from the cowl from the last events. Fingers crossed the cowl is slightly improved than what we saw.
