Where is the picture on the left from, the movie?
Yes. From when he is reviewing the POV footage of the mayors crime scene.
Where is the picture on the left from, the movie?
taking a screen grab of this for when the photos of people properly futzing this figure come out and it looks incredible.
Yes exactly, thank you for replying friend. The eyes are spot on for sure. <3Yes. From when he is reviewing the POV footage of the mayors crime scene.
These things are emotive as well as intellectual and financial - it makes perfect sense that people have an emotional reaction to seeing the pics, and it makes even MORE sense for people who have spent even more having an even more emotional reaction.
We pay, lets be honest with ourselves, insane amounts of money on dolls from movies - not because there is a logical reason for doing so, but because we love those movies those characters and the art and design of them and the figures themselves.
So having an emotive response is itself perfectly logical.
So even if I dont always agree with the blind panic or praise heaped onto any new release, I get it because sometimes I feel it myself, we all do - because we are all inherently passionate people, otherwise we wouldn't be in this hobby let alone on a forum dedicated to it.
Both the praise and the panic are perfectly appropriate responses and we all just need to accept that and not take other people's opinions as personal affronts but just recognize it as the same passion in ourselves.
Won’t be surprised if it is. HahahGonna laugh my *** off when InArt confirms it's the same sculpt again.
Best thing I see here is that InArt painted the bat ears on the symbol correctly. Many people don't seem to realize the chest symbol does have ears--they're the right next to the orange triangles. Hot Toys messed this up and painted the ears orange, too, effectively eliminating them.Little easier to see proportions with the figure isolated from the background. I mean it's nothing definitive, because lens, angle, camera settings affect so much. But fun to analyze.

Don't be a coward and talk out of both sides of your mouth. Your making post after post saying its not living up to the hype, it doesn't look good, etc. This is not the gotcha you think it is. Hell, if this ends up looking incredible I will be very, very happy considering what I paid for this.
As it is, based on what was shown by Inart themselves, I'm disappointed.
Screengrab this too, why don't you?

People say- wait until its properly futzed and the blogger photos come out.
You respond- 'how much better do you think its going to look? sucks i paid for this'
You have drawn your line in the sand saying its not living up to the hype and its not going to.
So when it does come out, and the blogger photos look good, you would be wrong. It is inevitable.
One can behave in a cowardly manner in an online discussion by - for example- having their opinion challenged and then flip-flopping/backtracking to sit on the fence, or by resorting to childish name-calling in place of defending their position.Coward? Over a doll?
Cope harder, simp.

Just hypothetical examples of course…
It’s in the minority here that think the unmasked portrait “sucks.”What?
So, one can’t say that the pictures shown absolutely suck?
One can’t say that spending over 1K on this may end up being a mistake?
If it does look better, then great?
What exactly is getting you all so offended? I swear, I thought the HT simps were bad.
