Tonight I hope they drop some cowl pictures. Looks like the scratches have completely been redone. (Ex: On the eyebrow section)

COME ON INART GIVE US WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT.

I'm not sure I like how the deep the grooves are looking now. Kind of reminds me of Hot Toys. Especially referencing the star on their Captain America shields for example.

The more subtle grooves on the previous cowl appear to scale better.

Actually that's the worst thing about the Hot Toys figure. Looks much better here.
Yeah I was thinking maybe the poster was confusing this thread with the Hot Toys one. The stitching on theirs is much thicker.

I know it's an absolutely ridiculous comparison, but I'm so used to looking at my JND every day that when I see this the stitching just jumps out at me. It's a great figure, but the stitches really do look too large for the scale. If they're sculpted I don't know why they couldn't have been more proportionate?

Also, as Scout Trooper just pointed out, it's also the gaps between the armor plating that makes it worse.

The space between the armor plates is not an issue for me. I was pointing out how deep those gaps are inward.

Regardless, I would say the biggest thing that could be improved about the suit is the choice of material. It also helps to have that material a little loose fitting if possible. That JND statue is a thing of beauty, the best I've seen of their work next to Chris Reeve's Superman. I'd be curious to see JND's attempt at a 1/6 Pattinson, though their Joker and Bale Batman haven't impressed me.

Neither 1/6 company was able to replicate the parachute material feel, nor how each armor plate/abdomen section has some airy give to it. Almost, like a filled out padded thickness to it. On the INART figure, those armor plate sections are simply flat which also kinda makes those gaps even more apparent. But for all intents and purposes, I’d say they achieved the overall feel of it in 1/6.

A small nitpick for me is how I wish the breastplate was sitting flush above the top of first armor plate section, which would look more accurate to me and eliminate that first gap joint. Perhaps, with futzing, it’d be doable.

I also like how INART replicated the scratches on the chest “Batarang” aka his utility knife. Hot Toys omitted them.

Sidenote: Anyone know how to insert photo attachments into the text body? For some reason, I was able to before but now it’s greyed out, not allowing me to do so. It’d be easier to plug the pics in that way. TIA.

That's true, let’s hope and see it’s not too strong when the final comes out. 🙏

What is this cowl they showed? The figure comes with a empty cowl for him to hold?
Yeah man, it would really good with the unmasked portrait. It’s very difficult to see the texture at those photos though hoping to get closeups soon. This was their last cowl.
