I got my standard version the other day and what a pain it has been to put together. The bat emblem will not stay in place ( magnets may be missing?) the straps that go around the leg for the sticky bomb gun were installed backwards. The head is loose. I can't remove the plate on the bottom of the display base to get to the magnets there. Velcro straps are not holding. I might cancel my Superman order.

Preference for the source aside, did your brother give a good hard look at InArt Gandalf and Aragorn as well next to Batman to decide that...?

I am curious what would win 'best figure' from the InArt delivered line-up so far.
I have all 3 and I’d call it a tie. Think I’ve been pretty lucky as I’ve had no real issues with any of them. Still think the unmasked batman is slightly undersized mind.

The cover of the magnet compartment is a bit hit and miss. It does not pop open, I always have to give the base a little slap.

I am not aware that Superman has the same amount of QC issues.

I get your frustration man. My thigh holster arrived backwards as well, and that base plate is a pain to twist off. BUT after a few mods, it’s currently my favorite figure. So to me it was worth it. However, there are people in this forum receiving theirs with missing or damaged pieces, and that’s another story and I hope IA gets their quality control in order. I’m sure it’s no picnic for Kit to have to be the middle man for all those complaints either.

The only thing I’ve seen mentioned more than once in the Superman thread is the suit arriving damaged. Looks to be pretty delicate, but that seems inescapable for something so thin.

Contacted Kit regarding the QC issues on my figure. He gave me the mail of the inart support and said I should contact them and tell them, that I bought it at onesixthkit.

Damn, this sculpt cannot be f**ked with! IA even captured Pattinson's left eye being touch larger than his right. Amazing.

Stock Collar or Oaty Collar? I’ve been trying fit and angle Oaty collar on InArt Batman to how I want it. Oaty collar hides too much of neck from side profile to my likening I think 🤔.

The detail and paint aps are next level on the stock sculpt. I've warmed up to it a little. But ultimately, the likeness is where it loses me.

Is Unreal's perfect?
I would say... It's as good as I can ask for, from what I can see. It scratches that itch that Inart's doesn't reach for me.

Yeah it's a cool figure once you have everything in place... but it's not really a fun figure to pose since parts are always loose and falling off. And it reminds me much more of a custom figure that I pieced together myself than something from a licensed company.

Guess I have to consider myself lucky. Only a broken Dart Gun.

A bit of glue should fix it.

Edit: and a not correctly installed magnet slider in the base:

The gun and the base are fixed, now I hope that inart at least will offer a replacement wrist peg.

Btw, they really should do some QC during packaging, I mean if that is the first thing you see when you open a premium price collectors item:

It’s OT yeah. I have mine pressed down onto the body pretty tight and heightened the neck to account for the collars height.

Yeah mine looks like that too. The foam is so soft the manuals destroy it in shipping.

That's what I would assume as well that it happened during shipping, so more than likely not like that when they closed it up.

Mine was like that as well, but after just reshaping back to how it should be, it's just fine.

Yeh you’ve got two rights.
I’m late to the party and just had to say this is one instance where two rights make a wrong… Aaaand I’m done.

Looks like there’s a factory worker on the last batch who misinstalled the holsters since this issue has appeared out of nowhere all of a sudden at the very end of this figure’s extremely long release run.

So, after a few days with this.

I have to say, its my least liked inart figure. The sculpt is not accurate ( why no one is bitching about the ears not being accurate when this board loves accuracy baffles me.), the choice of weathering in certain places is questionable. I cant over look the QC issues it came with ( bent ear, loose fitting grapnel guns the fall off if I breath on them, missing magnet base.) All the plastic parts on the suit feel loose and pretty cheap.

With that said, there is something about it that makes me keep taking it out and futz with it. I always say, if I hum the theme song when I take it out or take a look at it, its a keeper for me. Wish it was made better to be honest.

Since both companies got this character wrong, im going to look at it like a dart board and say hot toys is much closer to the bullseye than inart on this one.

I put both of mine side by side last night and although the InArt is a great looking figure, I think once the custom sculpt comes out the Hot Toys one might take it for me.
I'll be keeping both for now at least though as I like the InArt in a "detective pose" and the Hot Toys in a menacing pose.

If the unmasked head is undersized and therefore essentially a waste, would anyone say that the computer that comes with the premium edition makes the premium set still worth the premium price? I haven’t seen anyone commenting on the computer, which probably answers my question, but I thought I’d ask anyway to be sure.
