That's what I would assume as well that it happened during shipping, so more than likely not like that when they closed it up.

Mine was like that as well, but after just reshaping back to how it should be, it's just fine.
Superman was fine, they used different foam though. So they do learn.

Also no magnetic pegs on Superman, but still painful to switch hands.

The detail and paint aps are next level on the stock sculpt. I've warmed up to it a little. But ultimately, the likeness is where it loses me.

Is Unreal's perfect?
I would say... It's as good as I can ask for, from what I can see. It scratches that itch that Inart's doesn't reach for me.

I agree with this. I think both HT and IA sculpts are good but not fully there in terms of likeness as I said before sometimes it is sometimes it isn't depending on the angle. The Unreal sculpt is the best but the paint holds it back to a degree, I think painted better it would be better.
So, after a few days with this.

I have to say, its my least liked inart figure. The sculpt is not accurate ( why no one is bitching about the ears not being accurate when this board loves accuracy baffles me.), the choice of weathering in certain places is questionable. I cant over look the QC issues it came with ( bent ear, loose fitting grapnel guns the fall off if I breath on them, missing magnet base.) All the plastic parts on the suit feel loose and pretty cheap.

With that said, there is something about it that makes me keep taking it out and futz with it. I always say, if I hum the theme song when I take it out or take a look at it, its a keeper for me. Wish it was made better to be honest.

Since both companies got this character wrong, im going to look at it like a dart board and say hot toys is much closer to the bullseye than inart on this one.
I also agree with this. Although I feel a few things about InArt with the QC issues. Mines having a bent ear and some of the hair on the rooted bw started falling off the glue on the side of the neck. I do feel it's a good figure but in the end the HT is the best overall in terms of final product. I noticed some off the later batches of HT Batman is weathered more then the first few batches.

Despite the issues here is my figure.

I’m late to the party and just had to say this is one instance where two rights make a wrong… Aaaand I’m done.

Looks like there’s a factory worker on the last batch who misinstalled the holsters since this issue has appeared out of nowhere all of a sudden at the very end of this figure’s extremely long release run.
InArt clearly didn't have the appropriate production force to tackle this release. Makes me think that whatever staff they're working with, they made them work extra around the clock. They were late to their own ETA by a year, then dragged the release for almost a year for it to arrive to costumers. Staff is doing mistakes that one would do if you're in a rush or if you're tired.

Makes me feel a bit guilty that I'm supporting this company that gives off signs that they exploit their workers and probably cheapens out on acquiring more staff. Well, that's how things have been in China for the last 30 years...

I think they have been forced to expand quite a bit, and I think the higher prices we are seeing with Legolas and the Nazgul are a result of that.

I mean, they did also have to fill an order for 10,000 Wukongs while making Bruce, Batman, Aragorn, Harry Potter, and Superman at the same time...
I don't know much about production logistics, but I think that one should have an employee take care of only a couple of things at the same time, over and over again, not have him constantly doing different things every week. They probably have 10 people painting the accessories, others putting magnets, etcetera.>

I'm just rambling here, just wanted to make a point on how these QC issues are probably the result of being rushed and feeling tired.

I never even took it out the box as it's not something I'm interested in.
The only reason I went for the premium was the rooted sculpt which does look amazing in hand but I've not tried it on the body yet as it will be for my drifter look.
Yeah I finally tried to display my figure with the unmasked head and had to give up on the idea, as it just looks ridiculously small next to every other figure I own. I know people argue that it's perfectly sized and in proportion, but sorry I'm not buying it.

Wishing now I had saved some money and just got the cheaper sculpted hair version.

Yep, that's exactly why I kept both. For me now, InArt and HT are the good companies for 1/6 licensed figs. Other than those two, I go to third parties, such as Mars, etc.

Say what you will about HT, but they at least know how to scale their heads correctly 99% of the time. Not sure why Inart seems to be struggling so much with that.
I 100% agree while the hot toys one was bulbous, Inarts was underscaled! Ledger joker prison was over scaled and Pennywise was slightly underscaled also!

I don't get how they can't get sizing right! Mine came with a fair amount of QC also.

I completely disagree that Hot Toys gets scaling right 99% of the time. Case in point is their '22 Batman.

You have to take into account, the heads should scale accordingly to what a person would look like without the layers of clothing like Joker, or the thick armor like Batman is wearing.

This is why I believe the InArt Joker sculpt is over scaled. It looks good with the jacket and everything on, but once those layers get removed it's oversized for the body.

With the Hot Toys Batman, both sculpts look way too big even with the armor on. If you were to put those on a normal body, they would look massively oversized. This was my biggest issue with the Hot Toys release was both of their sculpts' sizes. The sculpts themselves are good to the accuracy of Robert Pattinson. The sizing to the cowl on Batman and sizing to the Wayne sculpt are not right.

With the picture Godfather posted right above, I see absolutely nothing wrong with the scaling for that head. He is wearing thick protective armor and his head stayed proportional with his body underneath the suit.

Maybe I'm wrong and I can go throw on a couple big puffy coats and the size of my head will grow to stay proportional with those coats 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I'll grant you the proportions on the HT version are off as well. But I've got the Inart Joker and even with the multiple layers that head looks oversized to me.

Something ain't right about the Superman body to head ratio either. But I'll try to reserve that judgement until I see it in person.
