If I remember correctly, since it was 8 months ago, when Jedha Patrol on Youtube did his review he dropped his and broke an ear. He was able to swap everything over to the empty cowl and use that.

Although you shouldn't have to do this, if that cowl is in good condition that may be an option.
I remember that and might eventually give it a try. The second sculpt is mostly fine (very bent ears) but the issue is that it’s a noticeably a softer sculpt than the main one for some reason.

Kind of a mixed bag with this one. A nightmare to put together, absurd QC issues, and some fumbling attempts at trying to be cutting edge (magnets are great for a figure with well-tooled ankle joints and this ain’t one of those) but-

The final result is something that stands out as far less toyish than the Hot Toys effort, with greater fidelity in terms of materials/sculpt/paint.

Fun to look at, terrible to handle

I think the breakdown as I see it is-

More fun/less accurate Hot Toys
More accurate/less fun Inart

Not sure which I prefer. A mix of both would be appreciated.

Going to try very hard to never touch this guy again. Lol

I think since it's a display piece, I'd rather go through hell to set it up and then love looking at it than be able to pull it out of the box but be reminded that It's a toy whenever I see it.

Correct. It’s definitely a pose and don’t disturb it kind of thing. Might defeat the point of it being posable, but I don’t regret getting it. Headsculpt is really something. Reminds me of the Catwoman/Batman fight at the beginning of the film a lot. There’s a shot during that fight that really feels like this figure to me.

Which is great for me, because that’s one of my favorite shots of him in the movie.

This is sort of how I’m feeling about my masterpiece style transformers collecting at the moment. I love the look of them, but the more complex transformations they’ve been coming up with that take about an hour or so to get through have had me transforming them less and less, which has me considering getting the more “toy” like ones with less steps, less accuracy but much more fun to handle
