There's a lot of chatter on the board about the latest figure announced for the Indy line. While the "German Disguise" for Indiana Jones is indeed a significant look featured on the character for much of the last portion of the film, the figure featuring this outfit only includes one portrait head sculpt of Jones wearing a cap. An equally important aspect of the character's appearance in this garb is that Indy spends most of his screen time in this outfit not wearing a cap.

So...the question is this: Should Sideshow consider including an additional portrait head sculpt of Jones without the hat so that collectors can have two ways of displaying this figure in a screen-accurate way?

Vote and discuss! (But please keep it civil...)

Yes definatly, not only will it add an accessory to him and make me feel better about the price but the most famous scene of him in this outfit is when he threatened to blow up the Ark and has been stated he wasn't wearing the hat then.

Most of us got one with Adventure Indy that isn't being used and could easily be substituted. I'd only want them to include the hatless head IF it was painted with the cuts on his forehead and brow otherwise it is completely unnecessary. They should have made it a hatless head to begin with and offered either a cloth or plastic cap like Praji and Piett.

Definitely... He only has the hat when he bumps into Belloq-- When he holds the Ark "ransom" with the rocket launcher he isn't even wearing the hat.

I think they should include a hatless headsculpt. It'll only encourage more customs and/or give the opportunity for people to display him hatless for screen accuracy with the rocket launcher.

I'm passing but still think it should include a hatless head. It just doesn't make any sense not to especially when the bazooka thing is included and the price is what it is.

Yep, a beaten up sweaty Indy head is needed to make this figure complete and a logical fit with the Ark.

Wow... 18 and 18... This is one of the most interesting polls we've had on this site. This choice has really divided freaks.

Or you can look at it as pretty united - 38:1 - those that think SS aren't delivering to expectations vs. those that do.

I want to pose my German Indy with a hatless head holding the bazooka.
That's how it looks in the movie.
The hat should have been removable, and I can't for the life of me think why Sideshow did not make it that way.
Plus, I'm sure some people may have used the clothes to make a German adversary for Indy, and used the Indy head for something else.

I've posted a comment on the production blog page-- If every Freak that wants this representation of Indy BUT screen accurate posted as well (in a civilized and mature fashion) maybe we'll get a response or wonderfully a change.

Please post Freaks.

He should really come with a hatless sculpt or removable hat. I'm getting him anyway, but I think it shouldn't be too much to ask for!

By the way, I posted on the production blog and the message is "awaiting moderation."

It should have come with both heads really. That being said I'm keeping my order.

Quoting myself cause I finally decided on how I wanted to vote. I went with Yes it should but I don't if they don't include one now I'm keeping my order.

Mine is "awaiting moderation" as well (and they probably won't be posted until Monday-- but if enough people post maybe we can shoot a flare up that they might take notice).
