This is worse than previous release. A previous release have three headsculpts with fur hair

That perspective effect golden cudgel is AWESOME!!!! But I still love my original dragon armor version...

This is worse than previous release. A previous release have three headsculpts with fur hair

This one is actually better than the previous release in terms of likeness - this one actually looks like the actor it is based off of whereas the previous version was a hodgepodge between the 1986 tv version (which the newer one is also based on) and their own design.

Furthermore, while this one only has one head, it comes with 9 extra hands, a tiger skin skirt, a perspective staff and nimbus base, the previous version had a small-size staff, 5 extra hands, two extra heads, and a nimbus base.

The good thing about this two releases is the previous version is for those not familiar with the 1986 show and want a more animal-looking Son Wukong. This one is for those who want a fig who looks more like the actor that portrayed the character in the 1986 series. This one also goes with the other characters that Inflames made since those are also based on the tv series.

My guess is that they went back to the sculpted fur to get a better likeness of the actor
