Info Needed: Gremlin Skull Prop

I bought this Gremlin Skull Prop ages ago and can't find any information about it - who made it, was it limited, how much did it cost and how much does it go for.

I think there might be some re-casts of the skull but I'm sure mine is an original - it comes with a base and skull isn't clean.

It's a nice collectible. I think it was one of the first things I bought.

The one in the pictures above seems to be missing one of his front teeth (front right).

I'll probably be sticking him on eBay this weekend.

I'll try doing some more research based on that.

Here's a picture of the one missing tooth from my one (it has always been like this since buying it... it took me over a year to even notice it!):

It's the very back/top tooth on the left. The one on the right is only about 1mm thick! I'm surprised that one is still there!

Not a massive amount of damage and shouldn't put anyone off.

They must be rare cos i cant find anything but ones from peoples personal collections. GreyZone or GreyZon did do some reruns at 1 point but that was years ago, and i believe they are slightly different to the original batch anyway.

Mine was bought about 5-6 years ago... I can't for the life of me remember the site I bought it from. I can remember collecting it from the Post Office!

I think the new ones are the clean ones that I've seen ago.

Greyzone has become a true fixture in the industry. It's a table you EXPECT to see at all of the big shows. Likewise, you EXPECT to see at least one or two cool new skulls that Luis has unearthed for our pleasure. Well, I'm sad to say... Just kidding! Luis is back for '97 with a vengeance and two new skulls: a Klingon and a GREMLIN! Luis once again unleashed his imagination and came up w/ a gorgeous interpretation of a Klingon's brainbox. Gremlin fans will be delighted with his 1:1 rendition of the Gremlin skull as well. (I can already see Denis getting out his checkbook!)

I bought mine years ago. I think I paid $49 for it then. It was too good to pass up. Haven't really took a close look in a while I'll check on my teeth tonight.

So, if a Gremlin melts in sunlight when it's alive (Stripe), what if the Gremlin is already dead and nothing but a skull remains. Would it still melt in sunlight?
