Long time lurker, finally joined up and made it official. I've been collecting all my life but it changes every so often based on different points of my life. Started with baseball cards then comic books up to college. Took a break from collecting during and after college, but then got into DVDs and Blu-ray sets. That transitioned to premium steel books for my favorite films. Got back into comic books bc it reminded me of simpler times and Batman has always been my favorite of anything collectable. At some point I collected 1/10 scale of Marvel and DC and used them as shelf decorations with all the steelbooks and Blu-ray. One day at my local comic book store I saw a display of the Hot Toys Avengers 1/6 scale and I fell in love.. most expensive love I've had in my life until the oldest got into college. Been going 5-6 years mainly on Hot Toys but last few years I've branched out to Soosootoys, mars and some other 3rd party figs. At the point where I have too many figs to display so will eventually start downsizing. Got in on the Jazz Inc batmobiles but missed out on the BVS/JL ones but I love the 66 even with its small issues.
I finally joined because I found it so hard to get good info on new releases in one place so here I am. I've been in the tech industry 25yrs as an engineer and I love solving problems. Right now I'm so excited about the renewed push on the 66 figs. That was my first intro to Batman as a child and it's always had a place in my heart!
